There is plenty to enjoy between Boat Harbour and William Bay with extraordinary wildflowers, views and variety to savour and photograph. In fact, one of the best tips given to us by another hiker was to split the standard day into two, stopping at the very pleasant Parry’s Beach campground approximately halfway between huts.

The track from William Bay Hut to Denmark takes you over Mt Hallowell. It’s a big climb, which you can bypass, but any apprehensions are erased when you are enjoying the fantastic vistas from the top! The day finishes along Wilson Inlet, with views over the wind-whipped water.
