From Hilltop to Finke you’ll encounter water crossings, plains and a steep descent with expansive views as you progress along the Larapinta Trail.

As you leave Finke campsite you’ll cross waterways, traverse rolling hills along red rocky trails, until you reach another lookout before finally you arrive at the spectacular Ormiston Gorge, peaceful in the evening when all the tour buses have left.
